12 Doctoral Positions at the graduate program of DFG
The positions are located at the graduate program Post-Eurocentric Europe: Narratives of a World Province in Transformation, Department of Literature, Art and Media studies. Members of the graduate school are expected to be present on site during the semester.
As a professorial member of a newly established Graduate School (German Research Foundation) at the University of Konstanz, Prof. Dr Judith Beyer is available to supervise doctoral theses in the field of anthropology (with a focus on legal and political anthropology). You can find the job advertisement here Important: the application deadline is 30 June 2024! If interested, candidates should first read the extensive thematic programme very carefully. Applications in the field of statelessness in Europe and on one of the various iindependence movements in Europe are particularly welcome. Ethnographic field research should be carried out in a European country (or in European border regions). Other topics are possible, but must also fit into the programme of the Graduate School! The interdisciplinary programme is scheduled to start in October 2024. A slightly later start is possible.
